Corporations do not like them.  It is still illegal to hire them.  Just ask Wal-Mart. So republicans do not like them, because they are a security risk, and drain on taxpayer money.  Democrats dont really like them either.  But since most are not caucasions, democrats play the only card they know how to.  The Race card.  There is nothing racist about this issue, but the democrats are trying to make one.

What gave you that idea? That Bush wants to make them legal? That would make them legal not illegal, therefore Bush and reps like legal ones not illegal ones. And even though many companies use them they don't exactly like them. It's just a convenience ATM.

and they didn't have anyone on the ports deal, they just showed they could be as bigoted and politically opportunistic as the most lowbrow Republican. As for 'security', only now, years after they should have, have they offered their platform on it, and it is just as obfuscated and silly as anyone else's. As usual, they want to load the catapaults with money and throw it at problems.

I can't really tell what you think about the immigration problem by your blog. You could be rabidly anti-illegal immigrant, or rabidly pro-amnesty and still despise what is going on in Washington.
